Dennis was certified as a Master Maine Guide in 1998 after being a lifelong hunter and fishing enthusiast. He’s now passed experience down to his son Torin, who as of 2006 is a Registered Maine Guide. Along with their Llewellin Setters love what they do and enjoy sharing the adventure with those who join them. Whether it’s your first experience with the sport or you’re an avid hunter like us, Setter’s Point aims to make every trip a great adventure that lasts a lifetime.

Setter’s Point is located in southwestern Maine situated on a 240 acre parcel of land. The property has a farm house built in 1790 and the other half in 1836. New structure for your personal needs includes a two bed room, one bath, kitchen, and living room lodge. We’re located on a dead end road in the foothills of the White Mountain National Forest. There are no other buildings west, east or north for miles. Hunting will start with a guided trip the first time you come. We can now run two hunts at the same time on the property. We have a total of 80 acres of fields divided by wooded areas and streams. The property is located on top of a small mountain with plenty of views and woodland to sustain good wildlife.

We welcome parent/child teams for a memorable hunting experience. The entire family, including myself, my wife, and my son has CPR and First Aid training. We make safety our utmost concern for you, your party and dog. Safety is the first topic when arriving at Setter’s Point.
