Welcome to Setter's Point

Master Maine Guide Dennis Jellison and his son, Registered Maine Guide Torin Jellison, along with their Llewellin Setters Kiana, Daisy Mae, Susie, Romeo and Jasper will provide you with a great time. Whether your passion is bird hunting, clay shooting or fly fishing, our 225 acre site with a private 2 acre stocked trout pond will meet your needs. Our property is registered as a commercial shooting area so NO LICENSE IS REQUIRED!

I was certified as a Master Maine Guide in 1998 after being a lifelong hunting and fishing enthusiast. I have passed my experience down to my son, Torin, who is now a Registered Maine Guide. Along with my Llewellins Setters, we all love what we do and enjoy sharing the adventure with those who join us. Whether it’s your first experience with the sport or you’re an addict like myself, we aim to make every trip an adventure you won’t forget.

Setter’s Point, in southwestern Maine, is situated on a 225 acre parcel of land with a large barn to board dogs. The property is on the end of a dead end road in the foothills of the White Mountain National Forest. There are no other buildings west, east or north for miles. Hunting will start with a guided trip the first time you come with no more than two hunts at a time on the property. We have a total of 80 acres of fields divided by wooded areas and streams. There are no more than two hunting parties out at once in different areas. The property is located on top of a small mountain with plenty of views and woodland to sustain good wildlife.

We welcome parent/child teams for a memorable hunting experience.

The entire family, including myself, my wife, and my son have CPR and First Aid training and keep up on the certification. We make safety our utmost concern for you, your party and your dog.
